In this science fiction novel, Titus and his friends have computers in their brains.  They thought they were taking a spring break to the moon, but some hackers made them end up in the hospital with their minds becoming empty. He meets Violet, who wants to fight the feed, so she can categorize human thoughts and desires. They finally understand what is happening to them and they try to make it stop. This is a classic science fiction novel and could be used by teachers to show what technology can do to society and humans. Too much of it can cause problems in society.
